Run to Help Others LEAP!

NC LEAP
NC LEAP is a donor-supported program of the North Carolina Bar Foundation (NCBF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Contributions to NC LEAP are tax-deductible. NC LEAP provides low-wealth entrepreneurs and inventors with pro bono business and patent related legal services. Since 2007, NC LEAP has served more than 3,500 clients, focusing on assistance related to starting or expanding a business, completing patent applications and protecting other intellectual property. NC LEAP works with several hundred volunteer attorneys and numerous community partners statewide.
Entrepreneurship plays an important role in revitalizing economically distressed communities in North Carolina. NC LEAP’s goal is to provide sound legal advice necessary to ensure continued entrepreneurial success for individuals whose household income does not exceed 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
